Sunset in Lunenburg

This just a test post as I setup my blog. Text is just a bunch of rambling. I thought I would use my blog to add a little more detail to some of the images I show on my site. It gives me an opportunity to add some “behind the camera” information.

The image below I shot while wandering around the town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. My wife, Jane, and I had sailed into Lunenburg a few days earlier aboard our Nonsuch 30, Dexterity II. We were tied to Zwickers Wharf in close to shore and enjoyed a series of interesting yachts that came in and tied up ahead of us.

I love shooting in the early evening when the light is better and the shadows a bit longer. I was wandering around the wharves looking for a shot. The sun was going down quickly.
